Service & Leadership
Just As The Constitution Intended
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, I am a firm believer that you won’t find better people anywhere in this country. Hard workers, strong families and down to earth good people. These are the people that make District 7 and our country great, but our potential is being held back by a government that wants to control every aspect of our lives. That is why I am joining this fight.
I graduated with a Finance Degree from the University of Findlay with $100,000 in student loans and currently live in a small duplex with 2 roommates. A millennial with copious amounts of debt who has to find ways to pay the rent. Stop me if you’ve heard this story before. The media and the Democrat Party would have you believe that everyone like me wants the government to forgive my loans and pay for my housing with taxpayer money. They would be wrong. I, like so many others, simply want the government out of my life.
After graduation, I knew I wanted my life to be measured in impact, not in dollars and cents. In 2018, I founded my non-profit organization, Diamonds in the Rough. Having played baseball my entire life through little league, high school, collegiately and professionally, I know what a huge, positive impact sports can have on one’s life. I also realized that so many communities lacked any recreational opportunity. Diamonds in the Rough is dedicated to transforming neglected baseball fields in underprivileged communities into state-of-the-art ballparks. We have been proud to partner with under-served communities to provide them with greater access and more opportunities.
This is my fight too. I do not have the luxury to sit back on the sidelines and wait until everything that makes this country great is destroyed. Our country has never been perfect, nor is it perfect today, but this great American idea - that all men are created equal, that limited government and individual liberty allows us to pursue our goals and dreams - these ideas are the foundation of the greatest, most prosperous, free and just society this world has ever seen. We haven’t always lived up to these ideals, but if we stick together and love and respect one another, regardless of our political disagreements, we can. We will.
I hope you will join me as we begin to heal this divided nation.
